Another three-week closure announced for busy Kenilworth road

Kenilworth motorists are set to face yet more disruption as one of the main roads into the town will shut for another three weeks this summer.
Kenilworth Road will close yet again between August 26 and September 20 for HS2 works.
Traffic lights will be in place on the road for a week beforehand from Monday 18 August.
The main route from Coventry to the town closed for a month in June for the new bridge to be installed.
While this was completed on schedule another lengthy closure is needed for the "final phase" of works.

An HS2 statement said: "We are in the final phase of delivering the realigned A429 Kenilworth Road and the new over bridge.
"We need to finish the embankments, reinstate and resurface the footpaths, position final utilities and complete the final highway drainage works.
"To carry out the works in a safe and secure environment, we will need to install temporary traffic lights for one week.
"We will also need to close the road whilst we complete the works."
