Kenilworth's barn museum is celebrating another successful year.

Despite opening late this year because of electrical problems, the Abbey Fields centre had more than 1,200 visitors in 2026.

There were a number of new exhibits including a trebuchet ball and a 'Young Explorers' table for children.

The new 'Kenilworth Revealed' app for exploring the Abbey was also hailed as a great success.

Among the many appreciative comments from visitors were: 'A lovely welcoming museum in beautiful surroundings', 'friendly helpful volunteers – great for children', and 'lovely place, lovely staff'.

The museum is run by the Kenilworth History & Archaeology Society and is now closed until next Easter Sunday (28 March 2027).
