Ale Rooms Kenilworth has announced their new Covid-19 safeguarding measures, and how they are making the extra effort to protect customers.

As with all local establishments, the Ale Rooms, at 7 Smalley Place, has been following government requirements in keeping an up-to-date Track and Trace book, and advertising QR codes for Track and Trace throughout the tap room.

This as well as enforcing social distancing, and allowing customers to prebook tables.

However, Ale Rooms Kenilworth has also announced that they will now be conducting a weekly Covid Fogging procedure, to ensure that the venue is as safe as possible for customers.

Starting next week the company will invest the extra cost to have a deep clean throughout. The process uses an industrial-level antiviral disinfectant solution which provides a quick and very effective sanitised clean of large areas and surfaces.

The disinfectant is completely safe. A thin mist is applied over surfaces and penetrates quickly to provide a thorough clean.

Fogging has been a long-standing cleaning method used in hospitals and care homes to fight MRSA.

Business owner Mark Caldicott has said "this is a cost we do not have to do, but I have seen the positive effect it can have on a bar to break up any potential outbreaks.

"Please everyone be safe and thank you again."

Ale Rooms Kenilworth, who has a sister branch in Knowle, was opened in April 2019. They offer a range of locally-sourced bitters, as well as a selection of gins in their CAMRA award-winning venue.
