Kenilworth Drive-In Cinema will host a different sort of showing this weekend, as a church service will be held at the Leamington Road site

St Paul's Church, Leicester Street, Leamington, are hosting the area's first drive-in service on Sunday September 20 at 10.30am, with their congregation as well as all other members of the community invited.

The church has been able to broadcast their worship band and services live from their Leicester Street building since the start of September, as well as allowing congregations in if they pre-booked their pew.

As the new guidelines which came into force this week, prevent religious worship in large numbers, the drive-in is a rather elegant, and exciting solution.

Attendees are requested to sign up first online, as there is limited capacity.

The service will then be broadcast on the big screens, with audio to be received by your car radio.

One attendee has already said that she is cutting her holiday short just to attend!

If you would like to join in with the worship on Sunday, you can sign up using this link.
