Sir Jeremy Wright has won a sixth straight election to be re-elected as Kenilworth's MP, but has seen his majority cut.

The Conservative former attorney general took 19,395 votes in Kenilworth and Southam, around 6,500 more than second-placed Cat Price (Labour).

Jenny Wilkinson received 10,464 votes for the Liberal Democrats.

Thoughts Kenilworth and Southam could slip out of Conservative control were quickly quashed with a BBC exit poll indicating there was a 97 per cent chance it would be held by the Tories.

But Sir Jeremy received around 10,000 fewer votes than in 2019 - almost the same number as votes are Reform UK's Jacqui Harris won.

Kenilworth and Southam results in full:

  • Sir Jeremy Wright (Conservative) - 19,395
  • Cat Price (Labour) - 12,821
  • Jenny Wilkinson (Liberal Democrats) - 10,464
  • Jacqui Harris (Reform UK) - 6,920
  • Alix Dearing (Green) - 3,125
  • Nick Blunderbuss Green (The Official Monster Raving Loony Party) - 442
  • Paul De'ath (UKIP) - 153

There were 184 spoilt ballot papers and the turnout was 75.49 per cent.
