If you love nature you will not want to miss out on two events at Kenilworth Books this week.

The Talisman Square shop is holding a 'Nature Writing Workshop' and another exciting book launch across two evenings.

First up is journalist and author Joe Minihane who will be heading to Kenilworth Books on Wednesday 11 March for the workshop.

He will be hosting the 'Nature Writing Workshop' from 6.30pm to 8.30pm and showcasing his book Floating.

The Kenilworth Books team said: "In this workshop, Joe will take us through different examples of nature/outdoor writing, how they work, why they work and what we can learn from them.

"He will then provide a prompt and lead a writing task, after which there will be the chance for people to share and discuss their work if they want to."

That will then be followed up on Thursday by John Watson launching his new work Delves Into Mystic Warwickshire.

The local poet, sculptor and organic allotmenteer will be in the bookshop from 7pm to 8.30pm ready to meet readers.

"John has sculpted and cast a series of seven mystical garden delves into existence," the team said.

"He has written a seven-chapter book of prose, poetry and artwork relevant to each bronze Delve.

"In each chapter is a riddle in rhyme, a clue to the whereabouts of a bronze token.

"The seven tokens are hidden within the ancient county of Warwickshire."
