Kenilworth pub serving £2 pints again for next England game
By James Smith 8th Jul 2026
£2 pints are set to return to a Kenilworth pub this weekend.
The Almanack is bringing pack its popular offer on Ghost Town Lager for Saturday's (July 11) England game against Norway.
The World Cup quarter final kicks off at 10pm BST, and the offer will run from the start of the match until the first goal.
The Abbey End pub has run the offer during the previous England games this tournament.
And Saturday's fixtures will also see the pub offering free Cherry Sourz shots every time England score.
Food will be served until 9pm.
And the celebrations don't stop there as it is World Rum Day, so The Almanack will be serving an exclusive Tiki Rum Punch cocktail all day for just £10.95
"Come and enjoy £2 pints during every England game until the first goal is scored," the team said.
"We can't wait to celebrate every goal with you! Don't forget to book your table or arrive early to get the best seats.
"Offer includes Ghost Town Lager only."
The offer comes just weeks after The Almanack celebrated a hugely successful first month under its new owners, Dhillons Brewery, which reopened the much-loved pub in May following an extensive refurbishment.
Since reopening, the venue has attracted a steady stream of customers with its new food menu, wide drinks selection, speciality coffee and programme of live events.
Managing Director Dal Dhillon previously told Nub News the response from the town had exceeded expectations.
"I don't think I could have asked for a better first month of trading," he said.
"People are very happy that it's reopened and that it's not just another shop on the high street that has closed. We wanted to bring it back to its former glory."
