Thieves have stolen from a charity donation shop at Kenilworth's Cherry Orchard Recycling Centre.

Overnight between Sunday 12 December and Monday 13 December offenders broke into the Piper's Lane recycling centre and stole an amplifier from the Age UK cabin.

The thieves also tried to break into other units at the site but were unable to get in.

The incident comes just weeks after a Royal British Legion collection tin was stolen during a break in at Whitemoor Road Chippy.

A Kenilworth Watch spokesperson said: "Please be aware that overnight between Sunday 12 December and Monday 13 December 2021 offenders have broken into the Recycling Centre, at Pipers Lane, Kenilworth.

"Once on the premises the offenders have stolen an amplifier from the Charity Donation Tent.

"A number of other units on the site were also tampered with by the offenders attempting to break into the units but these attempts were unsuccessful."
