A Sunday Times bestselling author is set to feature at the first Meet the Author event in Kenilworth this November.

Sue Moorcroft will join the Socially Shared team for its debut author event at the Priory Theatre on Wednesday, November 24.

As well as a Sunday Times bestseller, Sue has also won the Goldsboro Books Contemporary Romantic Novel Award, Readers' Best Romantic Novel Award and the Katie Fforde Bursary for her contemporary commercial fiction.

Socially Shared Business Support Network supports local female authors across Warwickshire and the West Midlands through its online bookshop and events.

Meet the Author has been launched specifically to support local female authors and will take place at the newly refurbished theatre between 10am and 1pm.

The event aims to bring together authors, readers, and local women in business for the opportunity to meet up socially, shop safely, and network.

Authors will showcase their books, and visitors will have a chance to chat and purchase signed copies.

As well as Sue Moorcroft, Nuneaton-based children's author and illustrator Phaedra Elson, Stratford-upon-Avon's award-winning strategist and author Rachael Watt, and Solihull's bestselling multi-genre author Shelley Wilson are also among the exhibiting authors.

Entry to this event is free, with refreshments available for a small charge at the venue.

Anybody interested can book their place here.
