Teenage singer-songwriter Daniel Barrie, from Kenilworth, has released his second single, 'Curtain Falls.'

The single was released on Friday, January 22 2021, and can be found embedded at the top of this page.

Recorded at Woodbine Street Studios, Leamington Spa, Curtain Falls is an anthemic pop song that captures the relief of letting go of a toxic friendship or relationship.

A former pupil at Kenilworth School, Daniel is currently studying A-Level Music and a BTEC in Music Performance, at performing and creative arts academy, BOA in Birmingham, whilst launching his musical career.

He has already written over 70 songs, many of which can be heard on his YouTube and social media channels, and he recently performed at the Mayor's Boxing Day event at Kenilworth Castle.

A natural songwriter, Daniel writes about the world around him using music to express feelings that inspire connection in the listener, aiming to move them both physically and emotionally.

Daniel fuses cleverly crafted lyrics and melodic guitar playing to create a fresh pop, and rock sound, reflecting the emotional experience of everyday life.

His dynamic guitar playing produces a rich sound with strong rhythms and sophisticated lead sections mixed with powerful blues and rock-inspired licks.

His narrative song-writing tells stories centred on his personal experiences; charting love, heartbreak, grief, anger, friendship, and even the Coronavirus lockdown.

The cover shot for the song was taken at The Talisman Theatre in Kenilworth.

You can listen to the single on Spotify here.

You can also follow Daniel on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube or check out his website.
