Every year, Amnesty International UK benefit from the support of the Oriflamme Ensemble, conducted by Antoine Mitchell. The money raised is used by Amnesty to support people around the world who are facing injustice and to support prisoners of conscience.
The 2026 concert will be held at 7pm on Sat 10th January in St Mary's Collegiate Church, Warwick. The orchestra, joined by pianist, Julian Hellaby, and soprano, Sydney Suffield, will perform a variety of works by different composers:
Trevelyan Suite by Malcolm Arnold; Petite Symphonie by Charles Gounod; Trostern Musik by Anton Bruckner; Someone to Watch Over Me by George Gershwin; Ave Maria by Pietro Mascagni; Le Gai Paris by Jean Francaix; Pavane Pour une Infante Defunte by Maurice Ravel; Liebestraum no 2 Value Impromptu by Franz Liszt; and Serenade for Winds by Antonin Dvorak.
Tickets: Adults £15, students and unwaged, £7.50, available from Warwick Books, Presto Music, and on the doors, open from 6.20 pm. Refreshments will be on sale before the performance and during the interval.
