Soroptimist International Kenilworth and District's Past President Sharon is celebrating her 70^th birthday by helping drive an ambulance to Eastern Europe. It is loaded with vital medical supplies to help the humanitarian work of Belveder, which provides support to Ukrainians affected by the war.

The ambulance was a gift from her husband Dave who, along with 3 other Kenilworth Lions, Ivan, Jeff and Richard as well as Cllr Adrian Barton, will share the long drive with her. The team will set of early tomorrow morning, Friday 2^nd October.

The ambulance will also carry hats, scarves, gloves and other warm items donated by the Kenilworth Soroptimists, to help Ukrainians survive the expected harsh winter.
