Kenilworth Flower guild presentation and workshop on Saturday 20th September 10am for 10.30am in the St Nicholas church Kenilworth, with a cost of £3.50 to include coffee and biscuits, We will be in Autumn and with the beautiful summer we have had Autumn should be a good one and we should be rewarded with wonderful seed heads and berries. I will demonstrate a basket design something we haven't done for a while, please tell your family and friends to come along to support us and to enjoy a happy morning of Fun, Flowers and Fellowship.

Recipe for a basket arrangement: -

A basket of your choice but with a good lining so that it will hold water

Oasis to fill (this may be purchased from the Guild)

A selection of foliage's the fruits of the hedgerows and your garden, Berries, seedheads, moss, cones, gourds, fruit and vegetables.

Three different types of flowers, so that they will give you different shapes and sizes creating texture and interest, these will be of your choice, and the quantity will depend on the size of your basket.

Suggestions Sunflowers, roses, sedum, dahlias, Michaelmas daisy there will be so much to choose from so don't go to wild.
