Volunteer with Stratord upon Avon and District Samaritans - Make a lasting difference

Samaritans is a charity dedicated to supporting people who are struggling to cope. Our trained volunteers provide a safe, non-judgemental space for anyone in emotional distress or crisis. The Samaritans free telephone helpline – 116 123 – is manned 24 hours a day, every day of the year, and last year we received over 5 million calls. We are actively recruiting new volunteers and if you would like to gain a better insight into what would be involved, please do come along to the Welcome and Information Evening at Samaritans Stratford upon Avon, Tyler House, CV37 6TY from 7pm-8.30pm. We are a friendly, positive and supportive branch and recently celebrated our 35th birthday. Volunteering with Samaritans is an opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives while gaining valuable skills and experiences. We will train, mentor and support you all the way.
