'Leonardo da Vinci's Inventions' - A talk by Dr Javad Hashemi-Tafreshi
Leonardo da Vinci was born in 1452 and was way ahead of his time. He produced studies on numerous diverse subjects including paintings, nature, flying machines, anatomy, geometry, mechanics, construction projects including architectural designs for churches and fortresses.
Our speaker, Javid, was born in Tehran and taught biology and science at the university before coming to the UK. His talk is an entertaining, illustrated and animated talk about Leonardo da Vinci as an Engineer and Scientist.
