Kenilworth Fringe Festival

Kenilworth Fringe Festival will take place at venues all over the town from February 2 to 8.

It offers a wide range of events, suitable for all interests and ages, many of them free of charge.

Top of the bill are opportunities to hear from top human rights barrister Michael Mansfield KC and leading screenwriter, Andrew Davies, who is also patron of the week-long event.

But the programme also features classical music, poetry, political discussion, arts and crafts and historical talks.

Organiser Rebecca Warwick, chair of Kenilworth Chamber of Trade, said: "This is the first time we have run a festival like this and we are so excited by the programme we are offering. There really is something for everyone in this fantastic line-up. And what a great way to get out and do something interesting, sociable and positive at this time of year."

The festival is divided into three themes – make and do; experience; words and ideas.

Admission to the Saturday or Sunday events costs £10 all day for each day.

Highlights include:

· Top human rights barrister Michael Mansfield KC, Sunday, Feb 8, 5pm, Holiday Inn

· Leading screenwriter Andrew Davies, Sunday, Feb 8, 2pm Holiday Inn.
