Saturday 18 July
Kenilworth Art Society is celebrating its 50th Anniversary this year.
Are you looking for something extra, free and fun to do in Kenilworth over the summer holidays?
We have devised a family-friendly Art Trail throughout the school summer holidays starting on 18 July.
Works of art will be displayed in 26 different shops, businesses and organisations around Kenilworth along Warwick Road and the High Street. At each location there will be a painting or drawing by one of our members, as well as some information about the art work and its artist.
The Trail includes a child-friendly Quiz that will be available from Kenilworth Library, the Creative Café on the High Street, and our website.
The Trail will be formally opened in the presence of the town's Mayor, Alison Insley, at 2.30pm at Kenilworth Library on Friday July 17th.
We do hope people will support some, if not all, of the participating shops and businesses who have kindly agreed to display our pictures.
Maybe some of you will be inspired to join our society!
Enjoy looking at and talking about art as well as taking part in our fun quiz!
Further details of the Trail and the Quiz can be found on our website.

The Society is a friendly group of artists who meet regularly to share and learn about art and painting from each other. The group welcomes anyone who has an interest in pursuing art at any level. Meetings are held at the Waverley Centre on Tuesday evenings. The Society's website gives further details about the group, along with some more examples of members' art works in the Gallery and Events sections.
