Kenilworth's Graham Greensall battled through injury to claim runner-up in the Over-70s National Racketball Championships, narrowly losing 3-1 to long-time rival Ian Graham.

"A fantastic effort, Graham — well played," Kenilworth Tennis Squash and Croquet Club (KTSCC) said.

Meanwhile, club member Mariam represented England at the World Junior Team Championships.

The team reached the semi-finals, falling to top seeds Egypt after defeating Canada, France, and Poland in earlier rounds.

"A superb achievement on the international stage," KTSCC added.

The Crackley Lane club also welcomed world number six to the club for a week of pre-season training with SJ.

"She loved the facilities and engaged warmly with members - stay tuned, as more professionals may visit this summer," the club teased
