The Kenilworth Half Marathon returned to the town for its 22nd instalment yesterday (September 11) with the town turning out in full force to cheers on the competitors as they completed a loop to Beausale and back.
Kenilworth Runner's Paddy Roddy crossed the line first, completing the course in a race record time of 1:07:31.
He was trailed by Michael Kallenberg of Swansea Harriers and then Steven Hanly
Kelly Edwards was the first woman to cross the line. The Leamington C&AC runner completed the course in 1:21:06.
In total 612 runners crossed the finish line.
A minute of silence was held before the race following the death of Queen Elizabeth II last week.
The event will return on Sunday 10 September 2023.
