The away side were due to kick start their season last week against Jaguar/Daimler, however the game had to be abandoned after a head injury was sustained by a Daimler player.
Sporting will host local rivals Leamington Hibernian at Gypsy Lane on Saturday, in their Midland Football League Division Three clash.
Already missing a lot of their regular players, Kenilworth Wardens had to play to the strengths of the players they had, which meant letting Coventrians have a lot of the ball, whilst trying to catch them on the break.
Sporting played their first competitive fixture since March at the beginning of the month, starting their 2020/21 campaign with a 5-0 thrashing of W L V Sporting.

Wardens had enjoyed an unbeaten preseason, with wins over Balsall and Berkswell, Stockton Reserves, Bishop Itchington, and Triumph Athletic, as well as a featuring in a draw with Rugby Reserves.
The Wardens did however leave it late to secure tonights victory, having trailed 3-2 until the 78th minute.
Having defeated Bishop Itchington last time out, Wardens extended their unbeaten preseason run with a 1-1 draw against Rugby Reserves today.
The camps will run each day between Monday October 26 and October 29, and run between 10.00am and 3.00pm every day.
Despite their laboured performance against The Engine last weekend, Wardens Reserves produced a very convincing performance today, winning 5-0.
Wardens Reserves, who were promoted to Coventry Alliance Division Three at the end of last season, came up against a newly-formed Craftsmen side, who will play their first competitive fixture will in Division Four when the season begins in September.
