Kenilworth Rugby Club celebrates mini and junior section awards

Kenilworth Rugby Club's Mini & Junior Section Awards Event, held last Sunday, was a "resounding success", with over 200 players and their families coming together for a day of celebration and community spirit under beautiful sunny skies.
The event was filled with excitement and energy, showcasing the hard work and dedication of the club's young players.
The highlight of the day was the Player of the Year awards ceremony, where trophies were presented by special guest David Opoku-Fordjour from Coventry RFC.
David, a past Kenilworth player, handed out the awards to the deserving players, helping to celebrate their achievements in front of their families and teammates.
In addition to the awards ceremony, the day featured a variety of fun activities, including rugby-related games, a bouncy castle, face painting, and an ice cream van.
Families and friends enjoyed the activities, and the beautiful weather helped create an atmosphere of joy and community.

Kenilworth RFC U11 Coach, Gareth Renowden, commented: "We are so proud of all our players and the positive energy they bring to the club.
"This event was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate their achievements and bring together our rugby family. With the talent coming through it's obvious that the future for the club is extremely bright.
"I must also express our gratitude to David Opoku-Fordjour for joining us and helping to make the day extra special for the players."
Kenilworth RFC is always looking to welcome new players to join the club.
Whether you're a seasoned player or new to the game, there's a place for everyone at Kenilworth. Interested families are encouraged to get in touch and find out more about the opportunities available for young players.
