The Birmingham Panthers are continuing to grow their presence across the West Midlands, bringing opportunities closer to local communities.

Now coming to an end their second season in the Netball Super League, the Panthers are not only competing at the highest level but also investing in the future of the sport through training opportunities for young players.

A key part of that mission is their ongoing partnership with Kenilworth School & Sixth Form, where they have been running sessions since August 2025, beginning with their inaugural Panthers roadshow event.

Kenilworth School & Sixth Form has quickly become an ideal base for the Panthers' community programmes due to its combination of large outdoor courts and indoor facilities, giving the club flexibility to run sessions in all conditions.

As the West Midlands' only team in the Netball Super League, Birmingham Panthers say they are committed to making the sport accessible across the region.

With some home fixtures hosted in Coventry, using a central and well-connected venue like Kenilworth allows the club to reach more families and inspire new players.

Easter Camps and CUBs Programme Relaunch

In partnership with England Netball, the Panthers hosted a community Easter camp, designed to introduce children to netball.

Following this success the club recently launched it CUBs programme: a grassroots Netball programme aimed at getting young players involved with the game, being active and having fun with friends.

Young players aged eight to 16 have an exciting opportunity to get involved in the Birmingham Panthers Summer Roadshow 2026, coming to Kenilworth School on 6 August.

The camps will be led by Birmingham Panthers community coaches alongside talented U23 NXT Gen players, giving participants the chance to develop their skills, build confidence, and enjoy high-quality coaching
