Potential homebuyers - and even locals looking to find out more - are invited to an open day at one of Kenilworth's most exclusive new housing developments this weekend.

Miller Homes is throwing open the doors to one of the near £1 million houses at its Southcrest Rise development on Saturday 24 February.

Guests will be able to see inside one of only two new 'Windsor' style houses at the development off Glasshouse Lane from 10.30am to 5.30pm.

The first of the homes will be available to move into from March, and is available from £999,950.

With 2,400 sq.ft. of space split over three floors, the Windsor is the largest home built by Miller Homes and comes with a stunning kitchen with breakfast bar, dining space and French doors to the garden.

Four bedrooms are split on the first floor, with the top floor dedicated to the huge principal bedroom. As well as an en-suite, it also has a separate dressing room, big enough to become a sixth bedroom, or to put to a multitude of other uses.

"The magnificent hall and staircase reflect the premium quality of this outstanding home," the Miller Homes team said.

"From the elegant lounge and dining room, and the conservatory-like breakfast area, to the two en-suite bedrooms, including a breathtaking principal suite with twin dormers and dressing room, every detail adds something.

"Our friendly development sales manager will be on hand to give you a tour of this stylish home and talk to you about our range of offers to help you move.

"No appointment necessary, simply visit us any time between 10.30am and 5.30pm on Saturday 24 February.

"We look forward to welcoming you to Southcrest Rise soon."

Southcrest Rise will eventually see 99 new homes built next to the new Kenilworth School, including a mixture of one to five-bedroom houses and two-bed bungalows.

As part of the development's section 106 investments, Miller Homes will be contributing more than £2 million to the local area.

The money will be spent on education, transport and sporting facilities, with more than £980,000 to go towards early years, primary and secondary education and £176,721 set to go towards creating a new community centre.

At Saturday's event, guests will also be able to look inside the main 'Oxford' style show home which opened in May complete with a double garage, two of the five bedrooms with en-suites and an impressive kitchen with a central island.
