A Kenilworth retailer has complained about "yet another" power cut in the town centre today (January 7).
Carl Edmonds of Edmonds Jewellers said his boutique and a number of neighbouring businesses were left without internet following the power cut this afternoon.
National Grid said there was a fault on the "low voltage power cables" which had caused the incident.
While today's episode only impacted a small number of properties, Carl said it was the latest in a number of power issues which had impacted the town centre and the rest of Kenilworth.
"It is yet another power cut," he told Nub News.
"We had another one before Christmas and this one has left us with no internet. In this day and age we all know how hard it is to run a business without the internet.
"We had a shop in Coventry for 44 years and probably didn't have as many power cuts there as we have done in Kenilworth in the last 14 months or so.
"I'd like to know what it is that keeps causing these cuts. Not just for businesses, but for residents in the town too."

An update from National Grid said the issue was fixed just after 3pm.
In response to a question about today's incident and the frequency of power cuts in the town, a spokesperson told Nub News: "A power cut in Kenilworth occurred at 12.33pm affecting 49 properties.
"Our engineers located the underground fault and supplies were restored shortly after 3pm.
"We'd like to thank customers for their patience during this disruption.
"We are currently completing a major upgrade to the primary substation in Kenilworth as part of our ongoing commitment to ensure customers have an efficient, reliable and safe electricity network serving the area."National Grid has been approached for further information.
