Three-way traffic lights are in place on Kenilworth's Knowle Hill.

In place from January 5 until January 16, the works are to install a new footpath and retaining wall.

The roadworks are at the junction of Knowle Hill and Crewe Lane and are being managed by Warwickshire County Council.

The scheme will eventually see a new footway to link Knowle Hill and the Glasshouse Lane school - following months of campaigning by councillors and parents.

The council said in December: "We will be starting with vegetation removal works, and in order to achieve a biodiversity net gain, we will be replanting in adjacent and nearby areas.

"During the works, in order to maintain the safety of our workforce and of the passing public we will have temporary traffic lights in place.

"We will only have the traffic lights in place when necessary, but we understand this will cause disruption when the lights are in place at peak times and we ask for your understanding while we complete this urgently needed route to school."

The first set of works began in December.
