The winners of the Mayor of Kenilworth's 2020 Christmas card design competition have been announced.

The four young Kenilworth residents each designed a different card which the Mayor will use when sending Christmas cards to local community groups, to county organisations and to the leaders of Kenilworth's twinned towns in France, Germany and Italy.

The winning cards were designed by two nine-year old girls Lily and Emilie, Aarnav aged 7 and Emily, 6. As a thank you prize, each winner gets 20 cards of their own design and a gift voucher for use at Delightful Desserts on Warwick Road in Kenilworth.

"There were more than 50 entries to the competition, all of a very high standard, so choosing the four winners was not an easy task," said the Mayor, Cllr Richard Dickson.

"After a very difficult nine months because of COVID-19 I'm sure the creativity of each of the card designs will bring some much-needed cheer to the recipients."
