Here are our top picks for the coming days:

1. The Big Read

In collaboration with Kenilworth Books, Resonate presents the Big Read - a celebration of reading, writing and storytelling!

The free two-part festival of books, authors and stories of all kinds – is heading to Warwick Arts Centre to inspire both new and avid readers to celebrate their love of books.

The Big Read – Day will take over on Sunday, April 2, with a range of activities for young audiences, with a series of shows, workshops, and story-time – and some beloved fictional characters hanging around Warwick Arts Centre with volunteers in fancy dress.

You may also see some of your favourite characters from fiction walking round the arts centre, ready to say hello and have their photo taken with you.

All activities are available on a first come, first served basis but you need to have registered your attendance.

There will be something fun for all ages, and British Sign Language interpretation will be available in most sessions.

More details here.

2. And Then There Were None

Head to the Priory Theatre to see And Then There Were None this weekend.

Ten strangers gather at the mansion on Soldier Island, just off the coast of Devon, having been invited under a variety of pretences.

Before the party truly gets under way, a recording plays that accuses each guest of murder.

Baffled, these strangers realize that they have no idea who their host is, and when the first guest is murdered, they understand that they have been brought to the island by a maniac who intends to dispense his own form of justice.

Who is the killer? And who will survive this gathering and make it off the island? As time goes by, and characters fall away in accordance with the lines of a sinister nursery rhyme, it is clear that the survivors can trust no one.

The show runs from March 29 to April 8.

3. Après Ski Party

Kenilworth's oldest pub is celebrating the end of the month with an Après Ski inspired party on Friday the 31 March.

With fondue and tartiflette for the table, served alongside Vin Chaud and snails and frogs legs for those brave enough to sample them, it promises to be a fun evening at the Virgins & Castle.

Live music stars at 9pm courtesy of The Audio Alchemist with special guests and shots of Eau Di Vie to keep the party going!
