Here are our top picks for the coming days:

1. Fringe

It's that time of the month again for Talisman Fringe!

Head to the Holiday Inn tonight (July 6) for either the 7.30pm or 9pm showing of the regular mixed bill event.

Having featured the works of William Shakespeare last month, the July instalment will showcase the best of the arts from Kenilworth School.

A varied display of work will be on show as the students of Kenilworth School take-over the Talisman Fringe to show the town some of what they are capable of.

Organisers said: "We can promise plenty of laughs, outstanding new talents and an exciting evening encompassing the very best of Kenilworth School's most creative students.

"Drama, comedy, art and music will combine in a celebration that you will not want to miss. We expect this evening to be a busy one so please book early to secure your spot."

2. V&C's Birthday Celebration

Head to the Virgins & Castle on Sunday (July 9) on Sunday for the pub's 460th birthday!

The town's oldest pub has a five-piece band playing from 3pm to 8pm in its courtyard garden.

As well of a hog roast - and a birthday cake - customers will also be able to try some of the High Street pub's 460th Birthday Gin!

3. Cinema

The Talisman Theatre's event do not stop on Thursday, as the Barrow Road venue brings cinema back on Saturday (July 8).

Audiences will be treated to a special screening of Leave No Trace - telling the story ofaA father and his daughter living a perfect but mysterious existence in Forest Park.

The theatre said: "This was released in 2018 but there were only limited screenings in the UK, so few people have seen this exceptional film.

"Now is your chance…and do bring along a teenager or two (if you can wrench them away from social media!)…it will open their eyes to what quality movies can offer.

"And this film is so much better seen in HD on our 200 inch screen rather than on a streaming service!"
