1. Kenilworth Carnival

Kenilworth Carnival will head to the town centre across this weekend, with the event getting underway today (June 22) with Bob Wilson's Funfair opening in Abbey Fields.

On Saturday (June 24) local roads will close to allow the succession of floats to make their way through the town centre.

The procession with leave Forest Road at 3pm, taking its usual route around Abbey Fields, through town and back to the War Memorial.

Sunday will see the return of Picnic in the Park which will include more stalls, a dinosaur meet and greet, as well as the Kenilworth Carnival Car Show.

2. Kenilworth Pride

Kenilworth is set to have its own pride event this year as Warwickshire Pride organises more festivals over the county this summer.

Alongside its well established Warwickshire Pride in Leamington Spa, the organisation will hold events in Kenilworth, Nuneaton, Rugby and Stratford in 2023.

The Kenilworth instalment will be held on Saturday to coincide with the carnival.

Organisers said: "We'll be in the carnival procession and will then have a stall at Abbey Fields with information, art, performances, drag queens and all sorts of other stuff happening.

"Then there is the after party at The Ale Rooms, with a whole night of house music at the house where everyone is welcome.

"If you want to join us in the carnival procession, please send us a message. Everyone is welcome to join us. Let's show Kenilworth that we have Pride!"

3. Make Sense of Kenilworth Castle's Gardens

Discover Kenilworth Castle's gardens on an immersive gardener-led tour on Friday (June 23) or Sunday (June 25).

You'll be guided on a journey through the past, savouring the historic sights, sounds and scents that have been enjoyed at the castle for for hundreds of years.

Tours will be taking place throughout June, with those on Friday starting at 11am, and Sunday's at 3.30pm.
