1. Talisman Fringe

With two performances (7.30pm and 9pm) Talisman Fringe returns to the Holiday Inn on Thursday, November 3.

This month's instalment includes two short comedy plays - T'annoy' by Rob Taylor and 'After the Ball' by Maggie Stevens - sandwiching live music from Caitlin McCarthy.

2. Bonfire Night at Wroxall Abbey

Having recently reopened under new owners, the Victorian mansion house hotel is welcoming locals to its first community event - bonfire night.

3. Children of the Wolf

A clever, psychological thriller comes to the Talisman Theatre from Monday, November 7.

Helena receives a letter from Michael, a lover from the distant past, to meet at a house they once frequented.

But who are the mysterious young couple who greet her and how do they know so much about her and her former beau?

The questions for which they determinedly seek answers have a devastating effect on Helena, and lead to a shocking revelation and an horrific conclusion.
