The Virgins & Castle is starting 2023 in style with the first of the year's Friday night live music sessions.

Harrison James will be performing at the High Street pub from 9pm on Friday, January 6.

2. Burger Pop-Up

Award-winning street food business Meat Meets Bun will be heading to The Cherry Tree Café for one of its popular pop-up nights this weekend.

Head down to the Albion Street eatery from 5pm on Friday, January 6 for a tasty takeaway!

3. Shakespeare

While Shakespeare's birthplace in Stratford-upon-Avon is closed for two weeks, locals can book a tour to see the renovations in action.

Tours are limited to 20 people and must be booked in advance.

Conserving Shakespeare's Birthplace tours take place between 10am and 1pm from Friday 6 to Fri 13 January 2023.
