With almost all community events in Kenilworth being cancelled this year, the firework display organised by the Round Table and Kenilworth Ladies Circle was no exception.

In a video appeal to the people of the town yesterday, Mayor of Kenilworth Cllr Richard Dickson reminded residents that they can still donate to the Round Table via their Just Giving Page.

The Round Table and Kenilworth Ladies Circle play a large role in the Kenilworth community, organising events big and small for the benefit of others.

One of the biggest events of the year would have taken place this weekend. The Kenilworth firework display is usually held in the grounds of Kenilworth Castle, with thousands of people from the town coming to attend.

In his video Cllr Dickson said "I want to pay tribute to the wonderful work of Kenilworth Round Table and Kenilworth Ladies Circle in putting on this event for us.

"Most important of all this event raises a huge amount of money for the local community here, and if you want to say thank you to Kenilworth Round Table and Kenilworth Ladies Circle I urge you to go to their Just Giving page and contribute there."
