Richard Osman's latest murder mystery was the most-borrowed book in Warwickshire in 2024, according to information from the county council.

The author actually had two books in the top 10 issued books from local libraries with both 'The Last Devil to Die' and 'The Bullet That Missed' in high demand.

The two 'Thursday Murder Club' novels sandwiched 'The Secret' by Lee Child in the top three.

Of the vast array of children's novels on offer, 'Hide and Seek!' by Rachel Bright topped the list.

Of the top ten, four were children's fiction - including the eye-catchingly named 'I Really Really Need a Wee' by Karl Newson.
