All trains to Kenilworth have been cancelled on two days this week due to more strikes by members of the RMT.

West Midlands Railway has yet again suspended its service on the Nuneaton to Leamington Spa line on 16 and 18 March.

Services will run to Kenilworth on March 17 and 19 but are expected to start later than usual.

Industrial action is also set to impact trains elsewhere on the network and a limited timetable will run by WMR between 7am and 7pm on its other lines across the two days.

Passengers are advised to only travel if necessary and to check timetables before they travel.

Jonny Wiseman, WMR customer experience director, said: "It is disappointing that industrial action is continuing to affect our passengers' journeys.

"I would like to remind passengers to plan their journeys carefully as services will be heavily limited on strike days and morning services will be affected on the following days.

"Anyone holding a ticket for travel on a strike day can use their ticket on a different day or claim a full refund."

Meanwhile Chiltern Railways, which serves nearby stations in Warwick and Hatton, has cancelled all its services north of Banbury on March 16 and 18.
