Today the Director of Public Health for Warwickshire Dr Sade Agboola has issued an important message for local businesses regarding cases of Covid-19.

Warwickshire County Council has today requested that if your business has two or more positive or suspected cases of Covid-19 among your employees then you must report these to Warwickshire Public Health immediately.

This applies to all businesses.

Further instruction has also been issued to businesses which involve food processing, agriculture, warehouses, agency staff, a high turnover of staff, or where social distancing is hard to maintain.

Such businesses have been asked to report immediately if they have one suspected or confirmed case of Covid-19 amongst their staff.

Reports are to be made to Warwickshire Public Health [email protected] AND Public Health England on 0344 225 3560.

Quick reporting of a suspected case may be the difference in helping to prevent the spread of the disease further.

It is also advised that upon hearing of a confirmed case amongst a workforce, the rest of the workforce of that business and their close contacts are to isolate for 14 days to stop the spread of infection.

More information can be found on the Town Council's website.
