Three men have been arrested following a late-night police chase through Kenilworth.

Officers tried to pull over a vehicle at around 11.30pm on Thursday, July 21 in the town.

The vehicle did not stop and was chased through Burton Green and Balsall Common by police, before the driver and passengers got out and ran off on foot.

Shortly afterwards Warwickshire Police officers arrested a 41-year-old man from Birmingham on suspicion of failing to stop, dangerous driving and going equipped.

A 35-year-old man from Birmingham and a 35-year-old man from Sutton Coldfield were arrested on suspicion of going equipped.

All three have been bailed until next month.

A number of items were also recovered by officers.

A Warwickshire Police spokesperson said: "Enquiries are currently ongoing and officers are keen for anyone who was in the area or witnessed anyone acting suspiciously to come forward.

"Anyone with information should report it online or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting incident 430 of 21 July."
