Children at Thorns Infant School and Park Hill Junior School have been on a winning streak.

The children from Thorns and Year 5 at Park Hill have been busy creating stars for their, "It Was On A Starry Night" themed tree.

They entered the tree for the Christmas Tree competition held at St Nicholas church which saw the Park Hill Thorns Primary Federation crowned as the winner in the school category.

The foundation said: "The children had a great time creating their work and can't wait to take their pieces of work home to hang on their own Christmas trees."

Then, last week, the Park Hill Junior School girls' football team took part in the first Kenilworth Town Juniors "Lionesses Cup".

After battling their way through many well-played matches, the Park Hill team came out victorious, after winning three and drawing one of their matches.

The team remain undefeated this term, and have "represented themselves and the school fantastically".
