Police are appealing for witnesses after a burglary at a Stoneleigh building site.

Warwickshire Police said the incident off Ashow Road was reported over the weekend of April 17 to April 20.

The force said thieves broke into a construction site's compound, damaging the perimeter fence in the process of doing so.

"Once on site, forced entry was gained into a storage container. A quantity of tools were stolen," a statement said.

"If you have information relating to the above offence, please contact Warwick Rural East Safer Neighbourhood Team and quote crime reference 23/16934/26.

"Alternatively call CRIMESTOPPERS on 0800 555 111."
