The Kenilworth Calendar with a star prize is on its way

Monday 2 November will see members from Soroptimist International (SI) Kenilworth and District around town in their orange high viz jackets starting to sell the well-loved Kenilworth Advent Calendar.
The group has taken over the project from Kenilworth Rotary Club, who were unable to produce it this year.
The result of their hard work will be available throughout November, giving Kenilworth residents the chance to win four great prizes each day in December, culminating in a lucky buyer winning the fabulous Ruby and Diamond necklace generously donated by James Moore & Co.
The beautiful picture by Maddy Towle, an A level student from Kenilworth School, was chosen for the front of the calendar and local shops and businesses have generously given the other 95 prizes.
Emmerson Press, LoudLocal and Abstract Design all donated their time to help produce and print the finished article, while ten other local companies provided further sponsorship.
The £5 calendar will also be available online and in some local shops and businesses, with any profits being shared by Compassionate Kenilworth, Myton Hospice, Priory Youth Theatre, Talisman Youth Theatre, The Kenilworth Centre and Warwickshire Refuge.
"It's anybody's guess which Calendar contains the star prize, but each one gives you a chance to win one of the 96 worthwhile surprises, to cheer up those wet and windy days before Christmas," organisers said.
