The Talisman Theatre is hosting an auction at Kenilworth Sporting's home ground tonight (October 8) as it continues to raise funds for redevelopment works.

Hosted at Gypsy Lane, donations from individuals and businesses will be auctioned off as the theatre continues to raise over £1 million it needs.

The Talisman hopes to raise enough money to fund a two-storey extension, a new studio and lift for their Barrow Road venue.

Starting at 7.30pm tonight, tickets to the auction will cost £1, but residents are also able to submit bids in advance from home.

All tickets will also be entered into a prize draw which will be announced during the auction.

Prizes include:

- Breakfast for Four at Time For Tea

- A two-hour family photo shoot

- Tickets to sea Mamma Mia in London

- A meal for two at Indian Edge

- Wellness package from UndÅ Studio

A Talisman Theatre spokesperson said: "A chance (at long last) to gather together with our theatre friends and family, enjoy a few drinks and of course help raise funds for the exciting development plans for the theatre.

"We're grateful to all the people and businesses who've donated lots."
