Around 80 traders are set to head to the centre of Kenilworth this Sunday (July 28) for the return of Kenilworth Food Festival.

Run by CJ's Events Warwickshire, the popular community event is set to take over the town centre and will run from 10am to 5pm.

Last year thousands of people headed to the centre of Kenilworth for the event, and 2024 is set to bring another bumper crowd.

To allow the event to take place, a number of road closures will be in place.

The first road closure will be in place from 9pm on Saturday 27 July, with Warwick Road shut from Randall Road to the clock tower. This will be in place until 10pm on Sunday to allow stalls to set up and take down either side of the festival.

On Sunday, the following closures will be in place from 5am until 10pm:

  • Warwick Road - Between the junction with Randall Road and Abbey End Car Park Entrance
  • Abbey End, junction of Warwick Road to Abbey End Car Park Junction
  • Smalley Place, junction of Warwick Road to Barrowfield Lane
