CJ's Events Warwickshire is "proud to announce" the launch of a new Market Support Scheme at Kenilworth Market, designed to encourage traders back to the historic town centre market.

Delivered in partnership with Warwick District Council, the scheme offers returning traders the opportunity to trade at a reduced rate of just £17 per week, a 50 per cent discount, for up to 10 consecutive weeks between April and September.

The offer is available to traders who have not traded at Kenilworth Market within the past six months, providing a low-cost, low-risk way to reintroduce their business to local customers.

CJ's Events Warwickshire, which manages and delivers markets and events across the district, has developed the initiative to strengthen independent trade, increase footfall, and enhance the vibrancy of Kenilworth town centre.

Jamie Probert-Walker of CJ's Events Warwickshire said: "We know the pressures small businesses continue to face.

"This scheme is about backing our traders, rebuilding confidence, and giving businesses the opportunity to return to Kenilworth Market in a supportive and affordable way.

"Markets are more than just places to shop, they are community hubs that bring life to our town centres. We're thankful that Warwick District Council have reduced the market fees to support this scheme."

Cllr Ella Billiald, portfolio holder for arts, culture and economy, added: "We're delighted to support this initiative and hope to see many former traders return to Kenilworth over the spring and summer.

"Their return wouldn't just strengthen their own businesses but could also help to add variety and new energy to the weekly market, creating a more vibrant experience for local residents and visitors alike."
