Cosy Home Dog Boarding, a new family-run service founded by local dog lover Catherine Johnson, officially opens this month.

Based in Kenilworth, the business offers a "warm, safe alternative" to traditional kennels, providing "genuine home comforts and attentive care" for dogs of all breeds and sizes while their owners are away.

Dogs stay as part of the household, living alongside Catherine and her two friendly, well-trained working Labradors, Fern and Merryn.

With no cages or kennels, guests enjoy full access to living spaces, soft bedding, familiar routines, and "plenty of companionship" from both the family and their sociable resident dogs.

The service is fully licensed by Warwick District Council, insured, and meets all required animal welfare standards, with "every dog's health, safety and happiness as the top priority".

"I created Cosy Home Dog Boarding right here in Kenilworth to give local owners peace of mind.
