An independent Kenilworth estate agent has yet again been named as the best local firm in the biggest award scheme in the UK residential property industry.

Julie Philpot Residential has once again been named the best in postcode for CV8 by ESTAS, with the prize based solely on customer reviews.

The business, which recently celebrated its fifth anniversary, has also been nominated for the Sales award for the West Midlands at the major industry awards.

The boutique firm will now head to the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, in October to find out if it has scooped the prize.

Having also been nominated last year, company owner Julie Philpot said: "Needless to say we are thrilled to have made it through to the national awards again during a year that has seen so many changes to the property market.

"Service is still key."

The awards are powered by the ESTAS customer review platform which highlights the best agents, conveyancers, brokers and suppliers for customer service in the UK.

The winners are determined purely on verified reviews from customers who are asked a series of questions about the service they have received through the whole moving process.

 The winners will be announced by Phil Spencer at the ceremony in October.

ESTAS strict verification process ensures reviews are genuine, this year's shortlist has been calculated following the evaluation of 300,000 customer review ratings.

"Winning means so much as the results are based purely on customer reviews from clients that have experienced a full service from their agent, conveyancer, mortgage broker or supplier.
