A roller disco has launched at Kenilworth's new sports centre, bringing "fun-packed entertainment" back to town.

SK8house Kenilworth runs at Castle Farm Leisure Centre every Friday night from 6.30pm to 8pm.

For just £7 per person (including skate hire) each night will feature a resident DJ and is open to all abilities and age groups.

The roller disco launched again in January and has already proved a big hit with locals.

At each Friday event there will also be a tuck shop, glow stick shop, coffee machine and "good old fashioned fun".

"Recharge your brain, ignore your phone and join us for 100 per cent guaranteed fun," organisers Sk8House said.

"With the funkiest beats and the grooviest tunes, every Sk8house roller disco party is perfect for friends and family.

"Whether you bring your own skates or hire some of ours, it's time to get them on and get out on the dance floor."

The new Castle Farm Leisure Centre had its official open day on Saturday 24 February, attended by hundreds of locals and Olympic silver medallist Colin Jackson.
