1. Fun Fair

The Kenilworth Carnival fun gets started this weekend - ahead of the main weekend later this June.

This weekend will see the funfair head to Abbey Fields on Friday 19 June and stay until Sunday.

The Teddy Bear Picnic will also take place on Saturday in Abbey Fields from 2pm to 5pm.

"Join us for a fun-filled day of family entertainment, community spirit, and plenty of picnic fun," organisers said.

"Pack your picnic blanket, grab your cuddly companion, and enjoy a wonderful afternoon with friends and family in the heart of Kenilworth."

2. Repair Café

This Saturday (June 20) marks the return of Repair Café!

Get your broken items fixed and give them a second life.

Organisers said: "How is the gardening going, need your secateurs sharpening.

"Are you pedal ready for the summer holidays? Have you found parasols that need mending during the heatwave? Let's see if we can help you repair rather than replace those items.

"Of course, our brilliant team of volunteers will be on hand, in between eating cake, to help you fix things.

"Remember if you can carry it in or pedal it, we'll certainly have a look at it."

3. Rock of Ages!

Coming next week! Rock of Ages comes to the Talisman Theatre!

The Talisman Theatre is turning the volume up to eleven this summer as it presents the smash-hit musical Rock of Ages from Monday 22 to Saturday 27 June, with performances each evening at 7.30pm.

Rock of Ages arrives at the Talisman Theatre in a riot of 80s rock, featuring the book by Chris D'Arienzo and arrangements and orchestrations by Ethan Popp.

Known for its acclaimed plays and dramas, the Talisman only stages a large-scale musical every few years, making this high-energy production a special event for audiences and theatre members alike.

4. Open Air Concert

Kenilworth Fringe Festival is putting on a classical summer concert at Kenilworth Castle on Friday (June 19).

A community classical concert will be held in the grounds of the spectacular medieval fortress from 5.10pm to 8.30pm.

The weather forecast for Friday is good and concert-goers can take a picnic to enjoy while they enjoy the performance.

The show features internationally recognised musicians across the evening, including the popular Abbey Quartet musicians Jeremy Sampson and Barbara O'Reilly (violins), Isobel Adams (viola), Peter Wilson (cello) and mezzo soprano Samantha Oxborough, performing a varied programme.

Tickets are available at £35 each from the Kenilworth Chamber of trade website or £45 on the door.
