1. Stand-up Comedy Night

"One of the best headliners in the country" is set to come to Kenilworth this weekend as the Talisman Theatreexpands its already-popular comedy night.

Having held sell-out shows in the foyer of the Barrow Road venue, the next gig on Sunday 31 August will take to the theatre's main stage with the audience set to be treated to some of the best comics in the country.

Compered by Harry Jenkins, the night will feature the hilarious Andy Fox and Mad Ron before headliner Ignacio Lopez - who has featured on Live at the Apollo, QI, and Have I Got News for You - closes the show.

2. The Complete Works of Shakespeare (Abridged)

Celebrations around the 450th anniversary of Elizabeth I's visit to Kenilworth continue this week at the Talisman Theatre.

And it is Shakespeare like you have never seen it before!

Organisers said: "This fast-firing adaptation of the Bard's works does just that, as it parodies all of Shakespeare's plays (plus the sonnets!) with only three performers in two acts.

"Packed with high-energy antics and smart use of costume, this frenetic, clever and contemporary comedy will have you engaged throughout."

3. Tiltfest

Head to The Tiltyard this Saturday (August 30) for the return of Tiltfest.

There will be music, food, face painting and fun at the family-friendly festival.

The latest food takeover night comes to East Chase Distillers this weekend.
