It's the first Thursday of the month which means it is time for the return of Talisman Fringe to the Holiday Inn!

This month's theme is Big Girls Don't Cry!

Organisers said: "Get ready for a fun and thought-provoking night out at the next Talisman Theatre Fringe! Join us for an affectionate and entertaining look at theatre’s most iconic female roles throughout history.

"From Aristophanes to Chaucer, Shakespeare to Shaw, and even Jack Jones and Cyndi Lauper, we’ll explore the evolving state of womanhood, shining a spotlight on the challenges and triumphs that girls and women have faced on stage, screen, and in real life."

The first show starts at 7.30pm on Thursday 7 November, followed by a second showing at 9pm.
