1. Black Bag

Cinema returns to the Talisman Theatre today in the form of 'Black ' Bag'.

Starring Cate Blanchett, Michael Fassbender and Pierce Brosnan, the spy thriller will be shown at 7.30pm on Saturday 11 October.

When intelligence agent Kathryn Woodhouse is suspected of betraying the nation, her husband – also a legendary agent – faces the ultimate test of whether to be loyal to his marriage, or his country.

As sophisticated as a dry martini, Black Bag is a smartly drawn contemporary spy tale.

2. Jumble Sale

Waverley Jumble Sale is back on 11 October at the Kenilworth Scout and Guide Centre at Castle Farm Sport Centre.

Entry to the sale is just £1 per adult with accompanying children entering free.

Doors will open at the usual time of 1pm and the sale will last until approximately 3pm. 

It is a cash-only sale, so "please bring sufficient funds with you".

To celebrate World Squash Day, Kenilworth Tennis, Squash & Croquet Club (KTSCC) is inviting everyone to come and try squash and racketball completely free of charge.

On Saturday, October 11, 2025 2pm - 5pm, KTSCC will open its doors, everyone welcome for a fun, friendly afternoon designed to showcase the energy, fitness, and social buzz of these exciting racket sports.

Whether you have never picked up a racket before or have not played in years, this is the perfect opportunity to give it a go, meet the club's welcoming community, and discover why squash and racketball are such great ways to stay active.
