Popular Kenilworth pub announces Christmas menu as kitchen continues to boom
By James Smith 7th Oct 2026
Christmas may still be a few months away, but The Tiltyard in Kenilworth is already looking ahead to the festive season, with bookings now filling up for its Christmas menu.
The Leyes Lane pub has unveiled a four-course offering, with owners Dave and Amanda Shipley inviting local families, friends and businesses to make The Tiltyard part of their Christmas celebrations.
The menu has been created by head chef Daniel Kerr, who has been at the centre of the pub's increasingly ambitious food offering since joining the business.
Among the options on the festive menu are a choice of traditional and more contemporary starters, followed by mains including Norfolk turkey ballotine, roast fillet of cod and a wild mushroom, celeriac and black truffle pithivier.
There is also a choice of desserts, including Christmas pudding, alongside a pre-dessert and handmade petit fours to finish.
The menu has been designed to offer a traditional Christmas experience while also giving diners alternatives, including vegetarian options.
Amanda and Dave said they are expecting the festive season to be another busy period for the pub.
"Christmas is always such a special time at The Tiltyard and we really look forward to welcoming people through the doors," they said.
"We've worked hard with Daniel to put together a menu that offers some mouth-watering alternatives, alongside the festive classics. We want it to be a Xmas dinner that people remember."

The Christmas menu follows over a year of the pub bolstering its food offering, with Daniel having introduced a series of seasonal menus alongside new dining options including deli boards and a chef's tasting menu.
Amanda and Dave took over the pub in 2023 and have gradually put their own stamp on the Leyes Lane venue.
Amanda said the Christmas menu is another opportunity for the kitchen team to showcase what it can do.
"Daniel has really brought something special to the food at The Tiltyard," she said.
"We've seen how much our customers enjoy the new menus and the feedback has been fantastic.
"Christmas gives us the chance to take that a step further and create something really special for people coming to celebrate."
The four-course Christmas menu costs £40 per person and includes a pre-dessert and petit fours alongside the main courses.
Dave and Amanda are encouraging anyone planning a Christmas get-together to book early, particularly businesses and larger groups looking to arrange festive meals.

"We know people are already starting to make their Christmas plans, so we're taking bookings now," they added.
"If you're organising a work Christmas meal, getting the family together or simply want to have a festive night out with friends, we'd love to have you here.
"We're really looking forward to Christmas and hopefully we'll see lots of familiar, and new, faces."
The Tiltyard's Christmas menu is now available for bookings, with the pub's team able to discuss group reservations and festive celebrations directly.
